SECOND ANNUAL LIVONIA POLICE DEPARTMENT MEMORIAL CEREMONY
TUESDAY MAY 10 @ 8 PM
(IN ADVANCE OF NATIONAL POLICE WEEK)
National Police Week
In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
The Dedication Ceremony for our park was held on October 22, 2014.

Thank you for your support!
If you know of a business in Livonia or any surrounding city/township that would like to support the building of the Fallen Heroes Monument and park with a special fundraiser event, please let us know! We are well on our way and look forward to a nice park to remember and appreciate those who sacrificed for our safety and well being.
